If this sounds familiar

You’re not “dreading the holidays.”
You’re dreading what they’ll feel like without them.

  • You flinch every time you see a calendar, a commercial, or a table set for one fewer.
  • Everyone says “stay strong,” but no one tells you how.
  • You don’t know whether to keep the traditions, change them, or skip them altogether.
  • You feel guilty when you smile — and worse when you can’t.
  • You’re afraid of the day itself, and the quiet that comes right after it.

If that’s you, nothing is wrong with you. This is what love looks like when the person is gone.

The approach

Not about “getting over it.”
About getting through it — and growing stronger.

You won’t be handed platitudes. Each session meets you ahead of one specific holiday with real, practical insight on how to handle it, how to honor the person you lost, and how to protect your healing — so you walk into each date with a plan instead of dread.

Your guide

Meet Tiran Jackson

I know what it is to walk into a holiday with a hole where the person should be. I lost my wife, and I had to learn how to get through the days that used to be the best ones on the calendar.

I’m a certified life coach, speaker and author, and I created Surviving the Season to give you what I wish I’d had: a guide who has been there, practical tools that work, and people to walk it with.

You don’t need to be strong alone. You need the right people and a plan.

Questions

What if I can’t make a live session?

Every session is recorded and sent to you, so you can watch on your own time. You can still send in your questions.

Is this therapy?

No. This is coaching and peer support led by a certified life coach, and it isn’t a substitute for mental health care. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 in the U.S.

Do I have to speak or turn on my camera?

No. Participate in whatever way feels right. You can listen, type your questions, or share when you’re ready.

I didn’t lose a spouse. Is this still for me?

Yes. Close friends and family members, including parents, siblings and children, are welcome. Sessions speak to both widows/widowers and others grieving a close loved one.

What if it’s been years since my loss?

Holidays can reopen grief at any point. Many people join long after their first season.

What do I need to join?

A device with internet and the free Zoom app. We email you the link right after you enroll.

You don’t have to white-knuckle this season

Give yourself a plan, a guide and a room full of people who understand. The first session is Nov 17.
